Thank you all for helping us celebrate yet another successful Winter 4x4 Jamboree!  Mark you Calendars for January 14-16, 2021!

We invite you to join us for the Winter 4x4 Jamboree held in Hurricane, Utah (2 hours from Las Vegas). This spectacular event features world-class rock crawling combined with gorgeous views of Zion National Park, Pine Valley Mountain, Sand Hollow Resovoir and more! The Winter 4x4 Jamboree is a non-competitive trail run event for high clearance 4x4 vehicles. Groups of participants are led on rated trails by experienced trail leaders and helpers. Trails are rated on a 10 point scale, with a rating of 1 for graded roads that may be easily traveled by most cars and a rating of 10 for purpose-built vehicles (buggies) with sophisticated suspensions and drivetrains operated by expert drivers.

Trails will be limited to group size to ensure participants have an enjoyable experience, with more technical trails limited to groups of 10, and other trails up to 25 vehicles. Because of the different capabilities of full-size vehicles (Jeep, Toyota, Samurai, Buggy etc) vs. ATV / UTVs, we are limiting the event to full-size vehicles only. All but three of the trails each day will line up in the staging area of the fairgrounds parking lot prior to 7:45 AM and leave at 8:00 AM. Three trails will line up in the staging area of the fairgrounds parking lot prior to 9:45 AM and leave at 10:00 AM

We will be adding more vendors to the 3-day Vendor Show. We will also be adding new trails and features to the event. Stay tuned for updates. On Friday, we will have a “Vendor Fiesta”, where each attendee (18 years and older) will have a card that will have all our Vendor’s logos on it. Once they have visited every booth and received a sticker, they can enter the card in a drawing for valuable prizes.

The Event is organized and run by the very dedicated volunteers from two non-profit 501 (c)(3) organizations - Desert Roads and Trails Society (Desert RATS) and the Utah Public Lands Alliance (UPLA). Last year, thanks to all our sponsors and attendees, we were able to donate $48,000 to Utah Public Lands Alliance, Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association, Washington County Search and Rescue, and Share Trails/Blue Ribbon Coalition. These groups work tirelessly to keep our trails open and available to our sport.
The price per trail is $40.

Notice: During the three days of the event, Sand Mountain Recreation Area (SMRA) trails used by the Winter 4x4 Jamboree will be CLOSED to non-participants during the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm. The sand dunes and access roads will remain open to the public. To see the list of trails used by the Winter 4x4 Jamboree can be found here

FLAGS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL SAND MOUNTAIN TRAILS! Trail Flags and other merchandise can be purchased at our store here

You will be asked to leave and the local authorities will be notified if you are not complying with our rules.

If you already have created vehicles, please update them with new information, if necessary.
