Michael's Loop

A new trail for 2021 Jamboree!  This 4 rated trail features several steps, sand, tight washes all while winding your way between large trees. You will be rewarded with beautiful views of Utah Mountain Arch.

The trail begins in the town of Gunlock where the fun begins as you work your way through the trees before climbing up Utah Mountain.

Scenery

Beautiful panoramas of the high desert and views from Utah Mountain.  We will stop to check out a hidden Arch and some Native American Pictographs.  

Surface

Combination of gravel, narrow washes and some rock steps.

Trail Details

Steps not to exceed 18 inches.  Loose gravel and some steep climbs.
