Dominguez Falls
As you start the trail it follows a wash with rolling hills on each side, once the wash gets a little deeper you’ll see the big Wall on your left, Starting into the first runoff you maneuver through tight turns created by the water flow until you see your first rocks. Climbing your way to the next flat spot the trail veers left up hill to an 8 foot waterfall. Cross the top of the rocks and drop back into “The Boat Ramp” to set yourself up for one of the biggest obstacles on the trail, originally referred to as “Dirty Dr. Pepper” by Jakoby Converse, a tricky little climb up a rock wall with a sketchy approach.
Climbing loose rocky terrain to the left of the large rock wall you bring yourself to the Drop In. this is a mind game as there are 2 entrances. 1 for the risky at heart is the first approach where you side hill a loose rocky, possibly hanging a tire over a 30 foot drop. this approach actually sets you up for the entrance to the canyon, where as entrance 2 requires Either a front dig or some tricky maneuvering on a shelf at the top of the 30 foot drop to get lined up to the canyon entrance. once in the canyon there are a number of little climbs, tight turns, and tricky terrain to keep you on your toes.
Cresting at the top you’ll find a section of rocks with little tests here and there, eventually crossing Razzle Dazzle and dropping into SandThrax canyon, where you’ll criss cross you way back toward the intersection of “Wayne’s World”, “Razzle Dazzle”, and “East Fenceline Rd”.
